ADI Database Administrator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an ADI Database Administrator.Responsibilities:

• Lead and support database architecture design, reviews, and modernization initiatives
• Provide expertise across on-prem and cloud-based database environments
• Support and optimize databases hosted in AWS and Azure
• Work with a variety of database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake
• Partner with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to discuss designs, ask probing questions, and recommend best practices
• Ensure database solutions align with performance, scalability, security, and reliability standards

Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a senior database-focused role
• Strong experience supporting database architecture at an enterprise level

Hands-on expertise with:

• On-prem and cloud database environments
• AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
