As an AWS Engineering Manager at PwC, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. You'll be responsible for designing, coding, and testing innovative applications that revolutionize industries and improve user experiences.
Your Role: As a pivotal leader, you will inspire and motivate your team to deliver high-quality results. You will coach team members, utilize their strengths, manage performance, and ensure alignment with client expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop large-scale distributed data processing systems and applications.
- Utilize programming languages including Java, Scala, Python, and JavaScript.
- Lead project teams and manage client accounts through effective strategic planning.
- Mentor and elevate junior staff to enhance their technical skills and career growth.
- Deliver successful projects while maintaining exceptional standards and quality assurance.
- Encourage a culture of innovation and quality work within your team.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technology.
- A combination of degree and extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a full degree.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Certifications in AWS such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solution Architect.
- Experience in Java 8 or Python, Spring Boot, microservices development, and working with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skills in utilizing monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana.
