We are looking for remote PhD interns for Summer 2026! During your internship, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge evaluation methodologies for AI systems. Your research focus may include creating robust, scalable metrics and frameworks that measure the quality, consistency, and performance of generative models across various modalities. Your contributions could be in one or more of the following key areas:
- Novel Evaluation Metrics: Innovate assessment methodologies for new AI capabilities, ensuring quality and consistency across complex multi-modal outputs.
- Self-Improving Assessment: Design systems that learn from feedback to automatically identify new evaluation criteria and enhance assessment quality over time.
- Privacy-Preserving Evaluation: Develop frameworks that use domain-specific implementations of differential privacy to safeguard sensitive user information while maintaining the utility for model training and assessment.
- Ethical Fair Housing Evaluation: Create scalable methodologies for evaluating agentic systems, ensuring adherence to fair housing standards and the promotion of ethical AI deployment.
