Senior Applied Scientist - Generative AI

As part of a dynamic team of scientists, engineers, architects, and strategists, you will collaborate with clients to design custom solutions leveraging the full potential of generative AI. Your efforts will assist organizations in identifying and developing bespoke use cases that provide maximum value, navigating both technical and business challenges effectively, and deploying scalable models that drive tangible applications.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers, offering guidance in best practices and supporting their journey through the implementation of generative AI. You will be involved in designing and running experiments, researching cutting-edge algorithms, and discovering novel methodologies to optimize risk, profitability, and customer experiences.

We are looking for applied scientists who can harness GenAI and other techniques to create, advocate for, and execute state-of-the-art solutions for unprecedented challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists and architects to research and develop generative AI solutions addressing real-world challenges.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their unique business needs and facilitate the implementation of generative AI solutions.
• Assist customers in building their applications using techniques like prompt engineering, model selection, and fine-tuning.
• Provide valuable customer and market feedback to influence product and engineering directions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing systems for speech recognition, machine translation, and natural language processing.
• Proficient in building machine learning models aimed at business applications.

The compensation for this role ranges from $150,400 to $260,000 per year, dependent on several geographic market factors as well as the individual's job-related knowledge and experience.
