In this Senior Applied Scientist role within our Retail Trading Team, you will be pivotal in shaping our pricing strategy through data-driven experimentation and analysis. Your insights will have a direct effect on our business outcomes, working alongside talented colleagues across various functions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a forward-thinking pricing vision, establish a strategic roadmap, and prioritize initiatives.
• Design and evaluate innovative pricing models that optimize our service offerings.
• Create causal models to determine the impact of fee adjustments using both experimental and observational data.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and models to guarantee data reliability and integrity.
• Translate complex findings into straightforward recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to core values: clear communication, positive energy, ongoing learning, and effective execution.
• PhD preferred or a Master's degree in Economics or Statistics, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in pricing experimentation, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis.
• Demonstrated success in developing comprehensive analytics project plans and managing complex projects across multiple teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey intricate analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing well under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in implementing causal inference techniques beyond standard experiments.
• Familiarity with the crypto industry or experience with a crypto exchange.
