The main function of a Business Systems Analyst- ServiceNow is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications within the ServiceNow platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Works with key stakeholders with process-oriented solutions to align with ServiceNow production environment. Gathers requirements from business units and translates into proper specifications for desired solution to the ServiceNow Development team. Works on multiple projects as a project team member. Serves as a liaison between the business community and the ServiceNow IT team in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Manages the execution of some aspects and/or phases of testing initiatives for moderate to large sized system implementations and/or application management projects. This includes writing and executing the test plan and test cases. Responsibility may include coordination of user acceptance testing. Accountable for own work and effective coordination of process and information with others. Share technical issues and best practices; may need to seek out ServiceNow online community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or business-related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience required. Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage. Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines. Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details. Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions. A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level. Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions. Ability to work independently and within a team environment, within guidelines and policies of ongoing work; may receive general guidance on new assignments. Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
