Key Responsibilities
- Perform data engineering and analysis tasks to meet business requirements.
- Design, build, test, and integrate data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Create, load, transform, cleanse, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
- Work closely with data science and analytics teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize data structures and models for analytics and data science consumption.
- Integrate and manage datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop incremental data products and support their operationalization.
- Maintain growing expertise in core components of the data platform while understanding related systems.
- Provide on-call support as needed and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong programming experience using Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- Athena
- Glue
- SageMaker (any one or more)
- Experience with Informatica for data integration.
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control.
- Experience with ERWIN data modeling and data modeling techniques.
- Experience building and operating systems for data ingestion, extraction, and processing of large datasets.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Understanding of data structures, data optimization, and analytics-focused design.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in financial services products and processes.
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms.
- Basic leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
