The Certified PEGA Senior Systems Architect (SSA) will analyze business requirements, design, develop, and implement complex PEGA-based solutions while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to state technical standards. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience post-SSA certification and strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units to design and implement scalable PEGA solutions.
Develop or modify programs and conduct unit testing.
Participate in writing system requirements and technical documentation.
Implement business rules and case management features using PEGA rules engine.
Perform application design, case design, data modeling, integration, and administration within PEGA.
Provide input into agile/scrum planning sessions and peer code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Exposure to .NET, Oracle environments
Experience in technical consulting roles within the public sector

The ideal PEGA SSA should have:
Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to:

WebSphere or WebLogic
J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java)
.NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL.
With specific expertise in some of the above.

The PEGA SSA will be under the direct supervision of the chief of the Client's Information Technology Office (ITO) or other designated ITO representative.
