- The successful manufacturing software developer candidate will develop device-side code supporting hardware testing across two key responsibility areas.
- You will collaborate with both local and remote team members, as well as other Ford groups, gaining insights into product development, software architecture, and implementation.

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Computer Science or Software Engineering degrees not applicable).
- 6+ months of experience with Hardware or Embedded Software systems (internships and coursework accepted).
- Development experience in C.
- Clear understanding of time-critical software development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven embedded software development experience with QNX and/or Linux.
- Experience in multi-threaded programming.

This position is salary grade 2 and falls within salary grades GS5-GS6.
