The Test Solutions Center (TSC) team within the Hardware Engineering Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. The team designs with the latest technology and integrates state-of-the-art test solutions with advanced engineering systems.
TSC products support engineering labs, field operations, and production environments for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. This position focuses on the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of software supporting on-site factory test systems.
What You Will Do
- Guide multi-disciplined teams in the development of test equipment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a production environment.
- Contribute to cost and schedule management planning.
- Communicate project status with senior management.
- Troubleshoot software and test equipment issues.
- Develop requirements for software products.
- Collaborate with Program Management through written and interpersonal communication.
- Develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using specified development languages and environments.
- Support all stages of test product development, including design, integration, verification, production, and sustainment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with ten (10) years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree with seven (7) years of relevant experience.
- Minimum ten (10) years developing and integrating software applications using languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Minimum ten (10) years of professional engineering experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools.
- Experience with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
- Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation and software (e.g., NI VISA, NI Measurement and Automation Explorer, NI Switch Executive).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Working knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
- Experience developing software drivers for computer hardware interfaces.
- Knowledge of data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422.
- Experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools (e.g., IBM Rhapsody, Cameo System Modeler).
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycles.
- Experience with Software Configuration Management principles.
Work Location
This position requires onsite work in Tucson, AZ.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD – 250,000 USD. Compensation is based on experience, education, skills, and other relevant factors. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation programs.
