Security Architecture Manager

The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Security Architect who has extensive knowledge of modern security threats and the latest mitigation strategies. Expertise in application security and threat model development is essential, along with a thorough understanding of AI’s role in SEIM, MDR, MXDR, and behavioral threat analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI-based attack vectors and the ability to implement effective countermeasures. You should thrive in fast-paced environments and be enthusiastic about driving scalable AI solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust security frameworks for enterprise applications and internal EY platforms.

• Assist in the selection and verification of security tools, ensuring their efficacy.

• Create best practices for security architecture in AI-driven applications.

• Conduct security assessments leveraging AI and traditional code analysis tools.

• Evaluate new projects to ensure adherence to security best practices in architecture and implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in AI, Data, and Infrastructure to achieve balanced and realistic outcomes.

• Support business development initiatives for emerging technologies and trends.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Ability to lead security architectural functions and mentor junior engineers.

• Comfort engaging with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Build strong partnerships internally and externally by fostering trust and mutual respect.

To qualify you must have

• 5-10+ years of experience in security engineering and architecture.

• Knowledge of security and safety measures in AI environments.

• Experience using security tools for application verification.

• Understanding of threat model development and verified implementations.

• Familiarity with security certifications and best practices such as OWASP.

• Expertise in assessing security in agile development processes.

• Proven experience in establishing and promoting security-first best practices.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional software development projects.

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
