Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development & Leadership
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level Power BI dashboards
- Build fiscal-year calculations, expenditure rollups, and audit-ready reporting solutions
- Design and implement monthly snapshot architecture, including backend schemas and workflows
- Mentor junior developers and ensure delivery of high-quality, production-ready dashboards
- Develop and maintain data models that support scalable reporting
- Integrate backend systems and troubleshoot complex data-related issues
- Ensure solutions align with EDM, GIS, and internal development standards
- Partner with data analysts, program stakeholders, and IT leadership
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data definitions, workflows, and a living data dictionary
- Support executive reporting, audit readiness, and financial transparency initiatives
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions
- 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation
- 1+ year of project management experience
- 1+ year of data modeling experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Graphic design experience for polished, user-centric dashboards
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and enhancement
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week in Cayce, SC
- Contract duration: 12 months, with potential for extension
